STEM at SHGS!

STEM at SHGS!

Fourth grade students wiggled their way through September’s STEM Friday with The Gummy Worm Challenge while kindergarten students created structures and apple volcanoes! The October 4th grade STEM challenge was the Hurricane Hut Challenge-creating a hut that could sustain high winds.  October Kindergarten STEM Club members made slime and learned about viscosity! The results: a high success rate of hut durability, sliminess, learning, and fun! November STEM means designing turkey traps for 4th graders and building density towers for kindergartners!
