Welcome Mrs. Kiersten Staats to the Tiny Hearts room!

We are so excited to have her join us!

To continue with last week’s art project, we have been collecting leaves and other signs of fall.

Soon we will be able to put everything together to create a unique and creative fall collage.

Feel free to send in any items you may have that we could add to this project.

We love to read books during Circle. Please send your child’s favorite book to share with the class.

September 12 – 16

This week the Tiny Hearts class will be learning a new fall song.

Sung to the tune of “The Farmer in the Dell”

Oh, the leaves are falling down,

the leaves are falling down,

red, yellow, orange and brown,

the leaves are falling down.

We will start creating different types of fall art using unique items such as leaves, feathers, etc.

August 29 – September 9

The Tiny Hearts class are becoming more familiar with the playground and love exploring the climbing structure.

We have been creating artwork using markers and crayons.

The class will be using their new play-doh with cookie cutters to cut out different shapes and see what creations they can make.

The children do a prayer before each meal they have in class. Please practice saying the prayer with your child at home.

Prayer:

Our hands we fold,

Our heads we bow,

And for this food,

We thank you now.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
