*****When checking for the results of your child’s work, look in their student school email. Click on the email from the teacher that shows the released paper. When it comes up, it will show their score. You will see the word “view” in small print. Click on it. It will bring their paper up with comments.

Pay close attention to when assignments are due in each class.
Also, check the specials on the day your child would attend them (the specials’ schedule is on the white schedule in the blue binder behind the yellow schedule).
Reading: We will be continuing the novel unit. The novel is called The Watsons Go to Birmingham.
Vocabulary: Check in their reading poly pockets daily for new vocabulary to study each day.
Vocabulary and comprehension test – Thursday
Language Arts (English): We will be starting chapter 4 and learning about verbs.
Your child needs to study the new skill taught each day and review skills previously taught in the chapter once we start.
Spelling Word List – Words that correspoond to chapters 9-12 . The test will be on Thursday.
Math: Test Monday on Lessons 1-50 (postponed from last week)
Lesson 74, etc.
Social Studies: Finishing Lesson 1 and beginning lesson 2 in Chapter 5
Test on this material early the week of Feb 22.
Science: Beginning Chapter 14 Lesson 3 What are Chemical Properties and Changes?
Test Friday on Lessons 2 and 3 only.
Religion: Preparations for Ash Wednesday and Lent.
Beginning Chapter 16 The Celebration of Reconciliation.
