This week…

What a “Suesstastic” week! We had fun celebrating Read Across America Day and Dr. Seuss’s birthday with a week full of hands-on activities, snacks, books, and art all about Dr. Seuss and his books. We enjoyed dressing up all week and exploring our Seuss centers. We loved making our very own green eggs and creating cool hats for Cat in the Hat. We had fun graphing fish and measuring with many Seuss hats. We want to thank all of our special readers and families for making this week tremendous!

Next week…

We will get ready for St. Patrick’s Day! The boys and girls are counting down the days until the little green leprechaun visits our classroom. They are very excited to catch this green guy and have asked to make traps at school. We need your help catching him! Please send in any items from home that may be of use to them when building their traps. We especially need Leprechaun Bait: Skittles, Lucky Charm cereal, gold coins, and anything shiny! Please send in items by Wednesday, March 11th. Religion next week is God’s Gift of Life.
