Literacy
1.  (Use items in your E-Day Bag). Draw a picture of your favorite part of today’s book in your Composition Book and dictate a sentence about it to your parent (who can write it next to your picture).  Allow children to mimic your writing, if interested.
2.  ABC Go Fish!
Cut a piece of paper into squares.  Write one letter on each square.  The first game you can use the letters in your child’s name.   Make 2 of each letter-2 green ‘a’ cards, 2 blue ‘z’ cards…use a different color for each set of letters.  Shuffle cards and deal 3 cards to your preschooler and 3 to yourself.  Take turns asking do you have a ?  And select a card you have in your hand.  If you find a pair, lay them down.  The game is done when all the cards are paired up.
3.  Book Talk
How do you think the other fish felt when Rainbow Fish wouldn’t play with them?  …when Rainbow Fish shared with the others?

Math
1.  Count as high as you can and identify the foam numerals from 1-10 in your E-Day Bag.
2.  Color Sorting
Use a cupcake tin and sort rainbow colored goldfish in the sections.  Count the number of each color goldfish.
Arts/Sciences
1.  Fish Pond Snack
Tint icing blue and spread on a round ritz cracker.  Stand goldfish up in the blue icing, like they are ‘swimming’ in a pond.  Enjoy.
2.  The Rainbow Fish
Materials:
Paper plate, wiggle eye, blue paint, 25 small 1.5 inch colored circles, glue stick, glitter
Paint back of plate blue and let dry.
Fold circles in half, rub with glue, glitter it
Cut triangle from right side of plate and glue on as a tail on left side
Cut 2 small fins and glue on fish
Glue on eye
Start in middle of plate and glue on fish scales in rows-the folded side will face the mouth
Overlap scales just a bit, and put 4-5 in each row and decrease the amount of scales as you do each row
