1.  (Use items in your E-Day Bag). Draw a picture of your favorite part of today’s book in your Composition Book and dictate a sentence about it to your parent (who can write it next to your picture).  Allow children to mimic your writing, if interested.
2.  When I Grow Up…
Wear a costume and role play that job with a friend or sibling.

Math
1.  Count as high as you can and identify the foam numerals from 1-10 in your E-Day Bag.
2.  Cold S’mores 
(no bake-you be the chef!)
 
Ingredients:
Mix in bowl-
2 cups chocolate chips
2 cups Cool Whip, thawed
2 cups marshmallows
1 sleeve graham crackers, broken in half
Place g. crackers on pieces of Reynolds wrap and add a good dollop of s’mores mixture.  Place another graham on top, wrap up, and freeze 40 minutes – 1 hour.
Enjoy with a friend.
 
 
 
Arts/Sciences
1.  Construction Zone Sensory Play 
‘Crunchy Box’ (clean out your pantry while your child plays)
Use an empty storage bin and start dumping in stale crunchy food that was headed for the trash-noodles, croutons, cereals, crackers, etc…Add some play hammers and let your child go at it.
2.  Construction Zone
Use a sandbox for play or add sand, construction vehicles, mini street signs, rocks…to a bin.  Use goggles, toolbox, hard hat, cones, a level, yellow tape, etc…to add more fun to your play.
3.  Tractor Paint
Dip a tractor’s wheels in paint and roll it across a paper making tire tracks like a farmer would in the field.
