A Day at Sacred Heart Grade School
| WHO? | Each prospective student applying for grades 2-5. |
| WHEN? | Call the school office (304-346-5491) to arrange for a day-long visit. |
| WHERE? | Sacred Heart Grade School Enter through the front steps on Leon Sullivan Go to the office on the first floor. |
| WHY? | To acquaint students with Sacred Heart Grade School and with a typical day’s experience. |
| WHAT? | Students will be introduced to our principal, Mrs. Niki Kurten, the office personnel, and finally their teacher for the day. They will follow a regular schedule of classes. At the end of the day, students will meet briefly with Mrs. Kurten, to discuss any further questions they may have. |
| WHAT DO I WEAR? | Remember SHGS will be in uniform and therefore it is important to dress appropriately (no jeans, please). After spring break, students are permitted to wear shorts mid-thigh or longer. |
| WHAT SHOULD I BRING? | Paper, pencil, pen, backpack, and a snack for morning break. Additionally, students may bring a bag lunch, or enjoy a hot lunch on us. |
| WHERE DO I GO IN THE MORNING? | To the office on the first floor at 7:45 am, Leon Sullivan Way entrance. |
| WHEN AND WHERE SHOULD I BE PICKED UP? | 2:45 pm at the office. |
| PARKING? | Park at any meter that is available on the street. |
