Note from the Teacher

Hello everyone!  This week we finished up our birthday theme with a classroom birthday party.  It was lots of fun.  We also celebrated Olivia H. birthday this week.  Our Star of the Week will be Aiden.  We can’t wait to see what all he shares with us.  This week we will be learning about apples and fall.  We are asking that each student bring in 3 apples by Tuesday.  We are going to do several activities with them, including making applesauce.  Thank you – Amanda W. for sending in the letter B snack last week.  Please don’t forget to go to our classroom Scholastic Book Club and order books for your child, if you want.  The orders are due Sept. 27th.  Our class earns points for every order that go towards classroom books.   I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Note from the Teacher

Hello everyone!  We’ve had another wonderful week.  We have learned a lot about the letter A.  Thank you to Hartley’s family for sending in the Letter A Snack this week. We celebrated Aiden’s 5th birthday and enjoyed Evelyn being Star of the Week.  Next week our Star of the Week will be Olivia H.  We had our school pictures taken and enjoyed some fall weather outside on the playground.  We will be having our classroom birthday party on the 22nd to wrap up our birthday theme.  The students have really been enjoying this theme.  It’s one of my favorites too.

Hello Everyone! It has been a short but fun week.  We have talked about our families and our classroom family.  We celebrated Alexander’s birthday, we learned our classroom jobs and learned about weather too.  This week we will be starting our letter bags.  We will be starting with letter Aa.  The letter bag will be your child’s show-n-tell for the week. They are due by Thursdays.  Our Star of the Week will be Evelyn.  Don’t forget the deadline to order books from our Scholastic Book Club is Sept 27th.  Each time you order books, our classroom receives points that will be used towards books for our class.  Also, picture day is Wednesday, September 13th for Pre-K.  Taran Woldford, Homeroom Coordinator, will be reaching out to you about Read Aloud and letter bag snack sign ups.

Note From Teacher

Hello Everyone!  I am so happy with the way my students are picking up on classroom routines and schedules.  This week we will be talking about our families.  I would like each student to bring in a family picture to post on our classroom family tree.  Also, our All About Me projects are due on Monday.  I can’t wait to see their creations.

Hello Everyone!  I am so excited about this school year.  I enjoyed talking with each of you during our Open House. We are off to a wonderful start.  The students are eager to learn and grow. Note from the Teacher

Hello everyone!  It’s time for Spring Break.  We’ve had a fantastic week and ended it with a super fun Easter egg hunt.  The kiddos really enjoy this time of year and so do I.  School will be out all next week for spring break.  The following week Pre-K will only come on Monday and Friday.  Teachers will be attending Celebrating Connections on Tue Apr 18th thru Thu Apr 20th.  I will not be sending home letter bags for the next two weeks.  I hope everyone has a blessed Easter and a wonderful Spring break!

Our theme for the week of April 17th will be Farm & Gardening.  We will continue this theme for several weeks.  We will not have a letter bag this week.  We will spend some time reviewing letters and sounds and continue writing first and last names.

Hello everyone! It’s been an exciting week.  The students loved the book fair.  I want to thank everyone who helped out at the book fair and those of you that purchased a book for our classroom.  We have enjoyed them.

I can’t believe Spring Break is just around the corner.  Our year is going by quickly.  I am truly amazed at how much these students have grown and learned so far.

Hello everyone!  Another exciting week in Pre-K1.  We finished up our dinosaur theme and we had some Dr. Seuss fun.  Thank you parents for sending in the towels and books for our D.E.A.R. day.  The students loved it.

This week we will be using our imaginations a lot during our “Fairytale” theme.  We will also be having our Royal Party on March 16th.  So many good things to look forward too.

Hello Everyone!  We had a fun Valentines’ Day party.  Thank you parents for all the goodies and valentines you sent in.  The kiddos loved passing their Valentines out to their friends.  I want to give a special thank you to Jessica Duffield for all the party organizing, I appreciate all of you ❤️.
Monday is Presidents’ Day, so school will be closed.  Tuesday is our Mardi Gras day, students can wear green, yellow, or purple if they want too.

This week we studying “Dinosaurs.”  This should be super fun.  We will have a Dino Dig site for our little Paleontologist.  We will also make Dino fossils and lots of other exciting Dino engaging activities.

Hello All!  I want thank each of you for attending our parent teacher conferences.  I love sharing all the wonderful things your child has accomplished this year ❤️ I am so proud of each of them.  Our Valentines Day Party is Tuesday at 1:15.  I know the kiddos will be super excited for that and so am I.  If your background check has cleared, you are welcome to attend the class party with us.
