Theme/Letters-Easter/Qq & Rr
Fairy Tales was a wonderful theme! We will continue this theme into the beginning of next week.
Easter Theme-We will appreciate the Christian celebration of Easter through affirmation of all the family customs that are a part of Easter. We will hear stories about Easter and about ways living things grow and change. Our listening vocabularies are growing as we enjoy many stories read aloud. This will make learning to read come easier. We will sing, craft, print, play in centers, and enjoy one another. Our fine motor skills are really improving through crafts, printing, cutting, etc…and we will be so ready for kindergarten!
Religion-We celebrate Jesus’ new life on Easter. We celebrate that Jesus is with us always.
Math-Counting to 100, Recognizing numerals and shapes, Patterning, Puzzles and Games
Looking Ahead:
No Preschool-Tuesday & Wednesday, April 5-6, Celebrating Connections Teacher Conference is these days. We will have preschool on Monday, Thursday and Friday of this week.
Spring Break-Saturday, April 9 through Monday, April 18. We Return on Tuesday, April 19.
It was so nice seeing parents walk their children into school. Remember to mask up, sign in your child at the door, and remind him/her to quickly do their morning jobs before entering the room. Thank you!!!
